What a beautiful October day! The WORMS just had to get out and stretch our legs and what better way to do that other than riding all over Northern Virginia? Well, how about riding over to Maryland and checking out Kent Island? Rose and Jim had stopped by the Red Eye Dock Bar once on another motorcycle ride and they've been wanting to return for the delicious food and drink. Today their dreams came true as we all enjoyed the tasty wings and things of this nature, along with a draft or canned beer too. Oh, there was something else for us to feast our eyes on (no, not the Ferrari in the parking lot) - Rose bought an almost new 2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 motorcycle yesterday! It's similar in color to her previous bike so we didn't notice at first. This bike is much more powerful and fits her well too. She's gonna swap the seat with a more nicely padded one soon but even now the bike is a dream to ride. Six WORMS members participated (Rose, Jim, Mike, Woody, Sandra and Allen) riding on five bikes. There is still a few months of riding weather ahead of us so keep the suggestions coming in for future rides.
