Allen noticed in Facebook that the Hooters Girls over in Woodbridge VA (Hooters of Potomac) were having a bike wash to raise money for the Kids with Autism charity. Since the Harley Fatboy was still dirty from that 9/11 ride last weekend, it certainly seemed like a good time to get the dirt off the bike. Just in case the Hooter Girls might be dressed to get wet, Allen brought along the camera and took a few pictures while the girls did their thing. Most of the guys were having a good time, but we were careful to keep an eye on our bikes in case the girls missed a spot or two.

America's 9/11 Ride, started in Somerset PA, continued to the Pentagon (Arlington VA), and then concluded in New York City, NY. We stayed at a few hotels along the way - the Quality Inn in Somerset, PA and the Sheraton in NYC. Since the WORMS were on their home turf near the Pentagon we stayed at our homes to save a few bucks. Overall this was a very enjoyable yet emotional ride. We experienced both excellent weather on the way to Somerset and then very poor weather coming from Somerset to the Pentagon thanks to hurricane Bill. The rain didn't dampen our spirits because the courage of the 40 heroes at the flight 93 crash site in Somerset made every one of us proud to be an American. Likewise, when we visited the memorial at the Pentagon and then the Twin Towers in NYC, we were overcome with pride for those that gave their lives to save others. The terrorists that took control of those planes on that September 11th day of 2001 will surely rot in hell for what they did and we shall never allow that to happen again on American soil.
