What year would be complete without the WORMS supporting the annual Patriot Harley-Davidson "Ride of the Patriots" and the national Rolling Thunder events? I think you all know the answer to that one. We had a great turnout from our West Virginia contingent of WORMS (Kevin, John, Stuart, Mary, and Rebecca) and the Virgina contingent (Jim, Rose, Mike, Kevin, Allen, and Sandra). We know that Gary H., Beth, and Andrew were out there too 'cause we talked to them on the cell phone. What about the rest of the WORMS? Some were supporting other events (weddings and such) but were any of you just sitting at home - content to watch it all on TV? Let's make a commitment right now to get all members out here at the 2009 Ride of the Patriots and Rolling Thunder events! Memorial Day Weekend was such a blast! It all started early Saturday morning with the annual Patriot Harley-Davidson open house event in Fairfax, VA. The weather was absolutely perfect and you just know that Allen was gonna ride that chopper! In fact, this was only a stopping point for Allen on his way up to Sterling VA for that 1st Annual Hardcore Bike Show later in the morning. The official "Army Chopper", built by Orange County Choppers, was on display near the main entrance. This bike was going to be ridden in the Ride of the Patriots on Sunday, and the WORMS were there for that too!

Check out the pictures below and just see how many bikes were coming and going. This is a good event for Patriot and probably resulted in a few bike sales. If you are looking for a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, there are several dealers within driving distance and they tend to get special bikes at each one - so check out all the dealers before putting your money down on that special ride!
